How To Play Music Playlists From USB?

How To Play Music Playlists From USB?
Anyone know how to get the Comand system to recognize music playlists from USB?

I have a 128 gb USB plugged into the port in the console. Individual mp3 music files all play perfectly, but the system refuses to recognize any playlist files, m3u, etc.

File and folder structure doesn't seem to make a difference. I've tried different variations of that.

This is in my 2015 ML350. Thanks.
