replacing instruments
I have a 2015 ML350 and found a 2015 ML63 AMG instrument panel. I like the AMG appearance, ie higher speed readout and design. I know I can plug it in but nor sure how all the electronic would mate up. Any suggestions.

Ask @Chris The Swede On his project thread he upgraded his instrument panel to my recollection on the same chasis. Might be the right direction to take

You can plug it in but odo will show a line instead of the true miles. It needs first to be virginized so old VIN is removed to be able to code it to your car. Or you need Star Diagnose for it to be coded to your car remotely.
