Rough Start and SES Light during cold morning
2012 ML350 with 78K miles
Rough ride and noise then SES light came on. Drove on for 7 min. Then I turned off the engine and restarted. Then No problems. Car rides smoothly without any vibrations or noise. Should I have this checked or was it a temporary issue?

I recently had similar issue, does the engine run rough, some vibration, low on power? If yes could be a ignition coil going bad. I had one done just a week ago. Only one coil, all back to normal now.

Just a heads up, mine after initial problem ran fine for two or three days zero issues and no lights on dash...... and then catastrophically failed in my garage (thank god). If I was headed to work it would have stranded me roadside.
