Heated Washer nozzles

Heated Washer nozzles
Hello. I got a leak from one of my windshield spray nozzle. I removed the hose under the actual nozzle, and the leak was caused by a small crack in the hose. So far so good I was planning to modify the hose, simple job But, inside the hose, it was i green wire, among the washer fluid. This green wire goes all the way along the hose, and arround all 4 spray nozzles. Its a heating cable. Of course this wire got damaged, when i ripped the hose from nozzle. And now it shows code B235B15. I dont need this heating.. In my country alcohol is mixed in the fluid, and its no chance it could freeze. I also se many 166 cars dont have this heating spray option. Is there any way go go arround this, and get rid of the fault code?? I can live without this heating..

Easiest would be finding the correct bit to flip in the computer, but I suppose if you know the actual resistance of the heater circuit you could bodge in a resister at the beginning of the circuit.

Is it throwing an error light on the dash? If not don’t worry about it. You don’t need the heated nozzle. It’s not for the washer fluid freezing but for the nozzle jets to get frozen with ice and plugged. I’ve never had a car with them before so it’s really not necessary. Just German over engineering.

Hello, no. Not alarm in cluster, only in xentry. Today i removed the wheel and the plastic, and got acces to the washer storage tank. I disconected the electrical connector that feeds the heating inside the hose. So far, the code is gone. I will see how it turns out😝
