Passenger wiper arm broke - had new Windshield installed last week
So when driving today my passenger windshield wiper arm broke. Basically the piece that links the 2 arms together on the passenger side broke off. Bearings went everywhere and doesn't look like its serviceable. Need an entire arm.
I bought this car a week ago from the MB dealership and they had the Windshield replaced. I am wondering if they remove the wiper assembly to change a windshield. Because its very strange why it would break all of a sudden. I am thinking the MB dealer or the place which installed the windshield damaged the arm while removing/installing and hence leading to the failure.
Will call the dealer however most likely will get told to pound sand. Anyone got a part number for this? Basically this is what I need. Seems very easy to replace. Just worried about part availability. Can't drive without wipers.

Because it was recent, if your dealer is a reputable one, they will cover and fix. Also, if you bought any dealer warranty, it may cover it too.
Basically, you need to nicely complain. If they play hard, play hard against. You can threaten them in court, you have reasonnable ground as this is dangerous.

Any used car that doesn't have a warranty is sold as is. Good luck winning that one.
