Hi
I'm confused about spare wheel bolts.
I have a temporary (steel) wheel which has a label indicating that short bolts should be used when fitting.
I have a box of bolts containing 4 long bolts and lock key with a part number B66470156 which when researched shows to be the normal longer bolt. However the picture on the box shows 4 shorter bolts and locking key.
So I seem to be missing shorter bolts. I wonder if the short bolts have been fitted in error to one of the wheels, have to try them all! Would the short bolts fit the AMG wheels?
Can anyone please advise correct part number or suggest a supplier?
Thanks

I don't know the part numbers but for some extra info, the standard wheel long bolts would/should be on the wheels, and also 4 in the box contatining the lock key. The long bolts with the lock key head replace 4 standard bolts on the wheels (1 bolt per wheel). The shorter bolts for the spare wheel are generally located in the styrofoam bottom that houses the tools to change a wheel under the spare wheel (i dont believe these would fit the regular wheels, they should be too short). The shorter bolts for the spare wheel don't have a lock head on them requiring a key, at least not the oem ones.Originally Posted by paulwith

Check the styrofoam under where the spare wheel was, it will look similar to this and the shorter bolts for the spare wheel should be in the red circled area.
Thanks for that and photo.
I have just found a bag of 5 short bolts in the boot of my SLK!
I always thought they were for the "collapsed" spare but now realise that they are in fact for the ML and the SLK uses the standard bolt.
It should have been obvious as the diameter is different.
So now safely housed in the foam.
Thanks
