CODE PO128 - 2015 ML350
. Just had CEL code p0128 (coolant temp. below required) from Autozone. After 10-15 minutes running tem,gauge 80 -90 C or between 80 and 100 and never go below 80 after the engine warmup. Running smoothly at any speed. Thinking about going to dealership but ready to "donate " money to them yet. Im thinking of clearing the code by an 'indy" if they can do it. Some are saying needs to replace thermostat. I power wash the under carriage ,hope I didnot messed the oxygen sensor. NEED ADVISE OR COMMENTS

The computer allows a certain amount of time for the engine to come up to its expected temperature. If your thermostat is stuck open, it'll take more than the allowed time and you'll get a code.
