Question Trouble linking my Samsung S9 to my 2012 ML350

I was trying to link my phone to my ML350 finally. Command cannot detect the phone and the phone cannot detect the car. I went the MBUSA-mobile as instructed in the command instruction book, but my car is too old to show up in the listing. Am I, missing something? Haven't searched U tube yet so that will be my next step.

Mercedes ML350 Bluetec 2012
Well this morning I tried to check that the cars blue tooth was turned on and it was. I started the car and had the cars phone system search for my phone and this time it found it. I do not think I had the car running the other day when I tried it. So I am good to go now. It also imported all my phone numbers into the system. Will have to go through and clear some of them out as there are old work contacts that I do not need anymore.

One more new thing completed with my ML, not quite sure why it took me so long. Wish me luck in discovering all the other features of this car that I haven't experienced yet!

IIRC the car needs to know it is in Park, possibly with the E brake set, before it will allow bluetooth pairing with new devices.

I think when I tried it the first time, the car wasn't running. Going to go through voice recognition routine next. Been a little slow in trying to learn the many new options of this car, ha!

Thank you for the info. Your text about within view of the Tetons reminded me of the 7 1/2 week camping trip my parents took us on out to the West Coast and back. Hit all of the major National parks, Mesa Verdi, Grand Canyon, Zion, Seqouia, Yosemite, Grand Tetons and of course Yellow Stone. I was 11 or 12 during that trip, it was the best trip ever.
