ML350 steering wheel removal

2015 ML350
ML350 steering wheel removal
Hello guys, new member here but a long time MB owner.
I do have a 2015 ML350 and I managed to find a new steering wheel as mine even though after 85000 mls it's all cracked and on its way out.
The question is: Is there any specific procedure on removal/install ? codes? Better to disconnect battery ?

disconnect the battery, wait 15-20 minutes and then remove the wheel.
carefull pulling the wheel off dont move the clockspring. just be gental. reinstall in reverse order
