One of my keys stopped working. Thought it was the battery, but no such luck. I believe that the dealer has to program it but do you need to purchase the new key from MB or are there venders out there?

I could not find one. I thought I lost a key for a couple of months. I did find it eventually which is good because it was $800 CDN from Mercedes.

Are there genuine keys on ebay that you can purchase and have the dealer reprogram?

Thanks Gary.
I took a shot in the dark and bought a brand new battery and it worked. The first battery I tried was still in the package, but not sure how long I had it.

That’s awesome you fixed it and probably saved a lot of cash!
