Idler Pulley Bracket - No threads???
I just ordering/received a poly v-belt, tensioner, idler pulleys, and the pulley bracket (276-234-06-39), for my ‘14 ML350 gas (276).
The hole in the pulley bracket is NOT tapped.
Are you supposed to just use the bolt that comes with the pulley (276-202-01-19) as a type of ‘self-tapping’ bolt, and just drive it into the bracket???
The bolt does seem to have a tapered end…
