command controller and airmatic buttons not working

Good Evening,
Ive recently had to take apart my center console to remove some wires left over from an old after market stereo installation. Once I had removed the wires, (a disused usb and aux cable), and put the console back together I lost the use of the command control dial and buttons as well as the airmatic selection button and the lower/raise button. I've check that all the cables are connected to each module and that the main harness is secure too, but still they don't work. The only thing I can think of now is that I maybe created a short on the main harness as I was disconnecting or re-connecting it.

Can anyone offer any help on what I can do to get the two modules working again. I've also looked at the fuse layout and have found no blown fuses, although it's not readily obvious which ones are for the two modules.

Thank you in advance

As a side question: can someone tell me how best to access the pre-fuse box that sits under the passenger front seat next to the battery?
