HDC message inoperable

HDC message inoperable
Gents,
i have ML350 2012 W166. while driving the HDC message inoperable come on the dashboard and the car slows down but it does not stop. it is comes randomly.
i stop and i turn the car off and then back on the messages goes away. there is no engine light at the dashboard neither the HDC light on the dashboard.
i took it to many mechanics and everyone is guessing. the last mechanic changed the gas pedal but the problem is still there.
i also notice that when i turn it on in the morning and when i apply gas to the gas pedal the message comes on.
No one knows what is the problem.
Can anyone help me?

I am sorry, HDC means? Never seen it.
Have you scanned the vehicle for codes?
