The left rear exterior door handle top cover broke at the screw boss holding it onto the handle body. It is only the chrome fascia (top of clam shell) that i need. Does anyone know where to find an affordable replacement? Sources for the part and a part number would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

EPC can be purchased for approx $20 on eBay. This is the dealer parts catalog. Takes some computer savvy to install.
In looking at the ebay listings I am concerned the the chrome fascia they are selling is only a surface application held onto the original handle by double sided tape. I need the OEM "Top cover" of the outside door handle. It has (2) small screws that hold it into place. The original is a chrome covered plastic part that I am surprised didn't break earlier.
It would be great if I could get part numbers or actual links to the part listing online.
Pictures are attached. You'll see the front door handle with the chrome cover in place and then the back door handle top cover is missing - that's the part I need - JUST the chrome top piece not the whole handle assembly.
Try giving a ring over to the MB dealers in northern NJ. They can help. Or buy and install WIS/EPC for $20 or so and the part number will be available to you.
