Mine arrive today, but I will not have time to install today being Halloween, too much other stuff to do (I am that house in my neighbourhood).

That may prove to be a deal breaker.
We'll see.

Hi Mike,

Any long term report on these bulbs?

Upon searching the forum found your post and really interested in these and thinking about the upgrade.

Any input will be very much appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

Yes they are still running perfectly, still bright as ever. I highly recommend the upgrade!

I second this position. Winter driving was no issue for the lights.

Still have them in both my E550 and ML550 over 2 year - Zero issued on both. Still same D1s LED bulbs.

Hello everyone! I recently aquired a 2013 E350 4Matic that i was shocked to realize has halogen H7 bulbs for the high beams and the low beams. I think the W212 styling still looks great today, but they make the car look so dated, and just generally bad since we are now so used to seeing LED/HID headlights on every modern car. The LED DRL lights in the foglight area make them look even worse. So im going to order 2 sets of the Fahren Termitor H7 bulbs to replace both hi and low beams. My question is do i need to order an additional metal adapter to make them fit properly in the housing? i read that some people said they had to ask for or order a metal adapter so that they could install them. Not sure if this was needed for older style LED bulbs only, or for all LED bulbs. The ones im thinking of ordering are linked below, and the description says that they are the same exact size as original halogen H7 bulbs. If anyone has any experience with this brand of LED's installed in a W212, please let me know how they were or, if you had issues installing them, or if i need to look out for any flickering or CANBUS issues. Thanks everyone.

You need to start your own thread for this question, you will also want to start it in the W212 forum not the W166
