Hello. I got a year ago a ML with keyless entry and keyless go and today i observed that i cant unlock or lock the car through the door handle , i changed the key battery, i removed the vehicle battery connection,i tried everything that i found , and still not working. The problem appeared from nowhere , after i got home from work and everything worked fine. Now i observed that a message appears when i put the key in the central console and i press the start button . It says "Remove starting button,then insert key". Any advice what i can do?

i remembered that the last time i used the car before the systems stopped working was when i rolled down and up the windows with the key thats the only thing i did at the car before this problem. Only with the key not opening the doors ,i just pressed the unlock button like 2-3 times to roll down the windows and 1-2 times i pressed the lock button to roll up the windows and then when i get back this problem was
Have you tried resetting the key? Pop out the keyless button from the ignition. Insert the key and turn but not fully to start. Wait a couple seconds then turn off. Remove key. Reinsert button. Then try. The dealership explained this when I got a new key so it will code to the car. Maybe this will work?
