ML350 - Emergency Hazard Button not working

New here and appreciate any help you can give.

The center dash toolbar in my 2015 ML 350 isn’t working at all. No buttons will illuminate or activate their respective functions. I use this for hazards and heated seats.

Since this happened after jumping my car (I was traveling for two weeks and the car wouldn’t start when i returned) I suspected it was a blown fuse. But, I just replaced the fuse and it didn’t solve the problem.

My digital dash says Hazard Warning Flashers Malfunctioning, but I’m not sure what to do to fix it.

You need to scan your vehicle, the scan should report what the computers think is wrong with the vehicle.

From that code, it is a lot easier to decide the next step.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I'm having the exact same issue. I installed an aftermarket android screen several months ago. Everything has been working fine but I decided to add a subwoofer to my vehicle and had to pull the head unit again. After reinstalling everything I no longer have heated seats, DSR doesn't work and no hazard lights. Pretty much everything on that strip of buttons doesn't work. I checked all the fuses with a multimeter and everything is good. I had one plug behind the stereo that didn't seem to have a home and I'm wondering if that's what it is. Everything is plugged into the back of the factory stereo like it should be so I don't know where this extra plug goes to or maybe it's just part of the wiring harness for a feature that my vehicle doesn't have. I was able to pull codes from my code reader. Any assistance is appreciated. I know the codes show the the garage door opener and ESP but those seem to be functioning just fine.

You forgot to install the connector on the panel with buttons.
