ML 350 BLUETEC - 2014 - 642826
HI, Everyone
Advice & help needed, Please.
I have a ML 350 BlUETEC, 2014 - W166 MODEL - 642826 ENGINE.
I just did a major service on the car:
PCV VALVE (ventilation crank case breather pipe & valve), turbo intake seal, metal charge pipe O-Ring seals, fuel filter, air filter, pollen filters, oil & oil filter with new sump plug & washer,
I used genuine Mercedes parts from the dealers,
every thing was fitted correctly & running perfect, until I floored the acceleration on the ML & I noticed oil dripping from the bottom of the engine on to the floor, I opened the bonnet & noticed oil sprayed all over the engine, Mainly on the right side (passenger),
I realised I made a silly error, by using the dip stick to measure the oil quantity, instead of adding 8.5 litres of engine oil, I put in 9.5 to 10 litres of oil.
Can any one help with This ?

Suck out or drain the excess oil and cross your fingers that you haven't blown or damaged anything. Too much oil can be just as bad as running the engine dry. Where did the oil that sprayed your engine bay come out of? Blown gaskets? Blown oil filter / housing?
