Bought a usued ML400 AMG NIK 2014. Should I be worried with the situation?

Bought a usued ML400 AMG NIK 2014. Should I be worried with the situation?
I decided to buy a used ML400 AMG nik 2014. It’ll be my first MB. From the dealer is all good with low odo of 33 Miles.
However, Gotten to know that the previous owner sold it because there was a clank when he started the car.
the dealer said it’s been fix and I too didnt hear any clanking. The engine starts smoothly also.
Should I be worried guys that it will have a lot of future repairs?

Are you handy with a wrench? Generally speaking, the issues are known, documented, and can (usually) be fixed by the handy owner for pennies on the dollar compared to the dealer. Haunt these forums and learn about your car.

Firstly - congratulations on your new ML, I have a 2014 ML550 and love driving it every time.
You will get all kinds of people on both sides talking good and bad about aftermarket contracts. I for one have been good with them. as long as you read the FINE print and the details - if you get a good contract they can protect you from surprise etc.
There are a few sponsors on this sit that offer very reasonable pricing and coverage for our cars. something to consider (https://mbworld.org/forums/members/4...autos-com.html) is one of them - I have no affiliation with them.
I do know when I inquired - if you have airmatic the Fidelity warranty (if you have that level of coverage) will cover it too...
but be aware - no contract wlll cover pre-existing issues..
Good luck - I hope its not anything serious...but even something small can be expensive if you have to open up the engine!

Interesting to know there were 2014 ML400, definitely not in the US until 2015. Also, I guess it is AMG sport package since I have only seen ML63 (two digits designation) for the 2014 and 2015 years . Source : https://www.auto-brochures.com/mercedes-benz.html

Historical service is avail til 2018 from the authorize service center. Please see attachment.Since then, the owner went to unauthorize service center for cheaper service fee and parts.
I really hope the previous owner is honest.

Hi Guys,
Really need your help. The ML 400 experience was so good for the past 4 months. But early Jan, suddenly the car stopped midway to the office. I was able to restart the car and headed to the office. But then when I wanted to return back home, the car completely unable to start.
Fuel pump and ACCU was replaced with new and it can start again. But now, I'm hearing a "whistling sound" which is very annoying when I put on the pedal. Any idea what cause this since my mechanic is also confused.
