ESP Control Module Failure after MB Dealership Repairs
Hi. Had some vibration occurring at higher speeds. Took to Mercedes Dealership who diagnosed and replaced the motor mounts, cylinder head front cover, and tires. A few days after pick up, I had a blind spot assist inoperative message show up when driving. I then noticed a few times that my car would delay ever so slightly when starting. And a week later, my car was dead and wouldn’t start. Had it towed to Mercedes Dealership. They concluded that it was the ESP Control module that was bad and needed replacing.
Is this just a bad coincidence and luck or could the initial repairs caused any issues or damage to the ESP module?
