CEL "U-Code" After Gas Fill-up

CEL "U-Code" After Gas Fill-up
Hey all,
I've got a 2014 ML350 4Matic that recently threw a CEL after getting gas. For the most part, my wife uses the same station/brand when filling up, but we were out of town and I suggested going to Chevron (Personal preference, always had good luck). Put in about 9 or so gallons, just a top off to make it back home.
Probably in approx. 5 miles the CEL came on, so I pulled into a parking lot and checked to verify the gas cap was on securely. Drove all the way home, ZERO drivability issues. Once we got home, I used my own scanner and the code read "U1454 - Implausible data from ethanol sensor". I have no idea what this means, and was afraid we might have gotten bad gas from the station out of town.
I cleared the code and the wife took it to work today with apparently no issues so far. Does anyone know what exactly this code means, or can hint towards? I did some google searching and didn't really find anything that actually proved helpful.
