2014 AC compressor blown

2014 ML 350 4MATIC
2014 AC compressor blown
The AC compressor blew and you could hear metal getting thrown through the system. Dealer is saying 29.5 hrs to clear the entire system and replace most parts and blow out the lines. Feeling like I’m getting the run around from the dealer, has anyone had this issue?

They just don't want to do the job, but if they were they wanted to make sure they could get the most out of it. Try calling around an independent shop and maybe some that specialize in Mercedes.

Yes, there is a LOT of work to clean up whatever is in the system. However, for your own sake and the car, do no let those mechanics touch your car again. Find an honest independent willing to do the work.
NOTE: the AutoNation network is not precisely something I would recommend. I do NOT take any of my vehicles to ANY of the AutoNation dealerships.
