ml550 08' died while driving
Hello,
So the car died while driving and wouldn't start. I replaced the battery since it's 7 years old and was showing 11.8v on my scan tool, but it still doesn't start. Anybody have some ideas? I'm searching the forums and have seen stuff about the starter dying or alternator or fuel pump. Here's the PDF of the codes (it's throwing a lot).I have not cleared the codes yet. Any help would be appreciated!

Remove the airbox on top of the engine, spray a bit something that will work as fuel. Crank it now, if the engine tries to run, and shut off --> FUEL PUMP
Now the correct of doing this is to get a fuel pressure gauge, connect it to the Schrader valve at the fuel rail (you can see it once the airbox is out), turn ignition key to position 2 (the fuel pump should prime then) and read the pressure in the fuel rail. If it is not 50psi -> FUEL PUMP.
Another alternative is to check for the fuel pump fuse; however, if it were blown I would have expected a code in your report and there was none. But worth checking.
Once the car start, please delete all the error codes, so you can get an accurate report next time.
