W166 - ML350 CDI - Strange Rattling Noise Front End
Hi Everyone. Got myself a nice looking W166 a few weeks ago. I have noticed a strange rattling noise coming from the front end when driving at low speeds around town. It disappears at high speeds and motorways.
When I approach a speed bump gently at low speeds around 10 mph, there is no noise.
After a lot of tapping and shaking, tt seems like the noise is coming from the inside the Wheel Arch Liners. When I tap the inside of the front wheel arch liners, there is a metallic clink.
The rattling is literally driving me around the bend....
I would appreciate if someone can share a guide to remove/install the wheel arch liners on the W166.
