I live in a rural area and none of the 4 local mechanics would touch a chain replacement for my ML transfer case so I just bought a new Transfer case from eBay and am waiting to have it fitted I unpacked it and inspected it on the bench all three shafts can turn independently this doesn't seem right to me how should I bench test to check the basics are in place ? any help appreciated
