2012 beige seat cover

Anyone know where I can find a front passenger seat cover in beige? Non perforated, mbtex is what I have. One MB site said it's only available with the entire cushion assembly or almost $1k. If anyone has any idea let me know. I've looked everywhere.

Best to find a shop local to you that will do the repair. These seats are notorious for ripping.

In may situation I went to a local shop who repairs marine boats interior. They have durable faux leather designed to withstands outdoor conditions. Paid $200 for a seat panels replacement

Get the part # and look for it online. I either bought my seat bottom on eBay or one of the online parts vendors in the US, can't remember exactly.

I think it was $400 including shipping.

That was for the seat bottom. The bottom and back are separate parts. There are MANY variations so make sure you have the exact part # -- maybe the dealer will help you lok it up.

Different part #'s for every colour, heated vs non, perforated vs non, leather vs. MBTex, etc, etc.

The bottom was not hard to replace.. took 45 mins with a long pair of needlenose pliers and some basic knowledge. Just remove the metal clips (hog rings) and remove the cover, then reinstall the new. Take a look at how it's installed and basically reverse the installation.

If not, take it to an upholstery shop and they can swap it.

That way you avoid "similar" materials that may or may not age at the same rate as the rest of the seat (different colour and wear patterns). I drove for another 100,000km (60 k miles) an d the seat still looked brand new when I sold the GL..
