...And that's why I always take photos of the engine bay (and elsewhere) right before mechanics work on them. In almost every instance, panels/covers/shields, fasteners, cable/hose/pipe brackets, dust caps, grommets, electrical connector clips, seals, and even a bolt or screw, etc. will go missing or get broken...and, they usually do not tell the customer or just forget. That's just the reality of letting others — even experienced master techs — work on your vehicle.
