2014 ML63 drive belt replacement

Is anyone aware of a write up for this? I have searched all over and cannot find an answer. My question isn't necessarily how to change the belt, I know you ease the tensioner and slide off/on, but more about what has to come off to get to it? I cannot get to the tensioner from the top or bottom of engine compartment. I'm guessing some components need to be removed in order to do this easily and I am trying to minimize the amount of parts taken off. It looks like if the intake pipe on the drivers side were to be removed, it would make it easier, but this is not easily removed. The connections for it are simple, but trying to route the curved pipe out looks impossible without removing other things. . I do see some you-tubes for the M156 and even an S class, but they are not exactly the same in process.

Any guidance is appreciated.

You should be able to access if you remove the fan shroud.

Start taking things apart. Take plenty of pictures and make lots of notes if you're not following a guide. Once you start it'll become clear, and it's ok to go backwards a little bit.

So, I got his done and I guess it really wasn't too bad. The key, as mentioned above (Thanks!), was to remove the fan shroud. It took a while to figure out what had to be moved/removed to do this, but once it came out, the belt replacement took only a minutes or so to route on. You will have to remove the top radiator connection, so be prepared to lose a bit of coolant, have a pan or something ready. Once the wiring plug/harness is unplugged and the hose removed, the shroud will come out. You will have to wrestle with it a bit, but be patient and work around one obstacle at a time.

Thanks Everyone
