2013 ML63 new or old timing chain?

Cool 2013 ML63 new or old timing chain?
good day all, new to the forum and reading a lot on here, great forum.
anyway, from what i have read, the ML63 had time chain issues MY11 and 12 and were improved/strengthen made into solid links starting in 2013.
Can anyone confirm all MY13 had the upgraded chains, or was it engine # or VIN# specific?
I know you look in the oil fill cap Not practical with an online search.
