Staying Relevant

We plan on holding onto my wife's 14 ML350 for awhile so I ended up installing Car Play and the GLE taillights. Car Play wasn't too bad to install once the settings were ironed out, however the tail lights were more of a pain. The lights themselves were plug and play however the reverse lights wire needed to be run up through the tail gate and back down to the outside tail light. Not sure how it could have been a better design and hiding the wires weren't fun, but very happy with the final product.

MB’s of all kinds.
I have a 2015 ML. It’s modern enough but nowhere near as modern as a V167. I personally think it has enough tech for DD. Anymore and it’s too much. My 2023 E is an example of that. Love the car. Just too much tech.

couldn’t agree more. To much tech and assistance programs are turning drivers into zombies. I won’t buy a car past 2018. Ever.

Brakelights look great! Where'd you get 'em, what'd they cost, and how long was the install? Edit: and debadge that beauty and it's a defacto GLE!

The install took about 90 mins or so. The longest part was trying to hide the reverse light wires in the weather stripping and you're right! It is pretty close to a GLE lol. If I could do the headlights then I would do those too but I wouldn't go as far as changing the bumper. The HID conversion works for now.
