W166 Clunk in engine bay
Loud clunk from engine bay on hard acceleration (foot to the floor) from standstill.
No codes, great acceleration and no noise when foot is not fully 'shoved' to the floor.
Previous experience, on different brand cars, suggest the fault lies with engine mount failure.
No Diagnosis tool (yet).
Car looks well cared for otherwise.
Id rather procure additional parts that are likely to fail in the near future that could be replaced while I am dismantling sturrfff around the engine mounts.
Any suggestions on additional areas / parts to measure / look for?
