omg. help. blown tranny?

So, car is stuck. It stalled during 1st burst. Stalled and now stuck on side of the road. Hope this isn't the end.

So, it starts but when in reverse or any drive mode, it just revs. No movement at all.

I will keep looking online but any ideas are most appreciated. Very bummed right now.

Arghhh.

Car just revs in gear still. Will not move. Rpm drops when put in d or r.

But will not minus shift into first gear or any gear number. In M mode it goes to number 2. Will not let ne minus or paddle to number one.

Think I'm screwed. Tried to unhook batteries, aux and main for minutes. I did the main batt disconnect for an hour but then realized I should do the aux batt too?

Thanks for any help

yOUR CAR FREAK OUT PROBABLY WENT INTO Limp mode...Possible tran fluid got so hot...

Let the car cool down, reset TCM...

DIsconnecting small battery front engine area and back trunk main battery..

Sometime you need the scanner in order to do a hard reset.

Updated: Just thought I would update from the past.... I did hear a light metal rattling noise when put into D or R gears. But of course, engine revved but nothing in Gear. Took it to a reputable Indy Mercedes Shop and they said it needed a rebuild, for sure.

They inspected and scanned with Star, hoping they knew all tricks to try and get it working.

Then I took it to a tranny shop and they confirmed again, needed rebuild. I figure with it making new noises internally (resets shouldn't put parts back in place), and two shops confirming, this should be a legit fix. It was fixed and working well since. Of course, I will always wonder but.....

guess it's in the past now...Live and Learn.
