Howyadoin I just got a E55 with 60k 03 and this is definitely the greatest car ever mass produced. Have some issues with power loss, for example I was doing some runs against a friend's CTSV and on some pulls we're neck and neck and other pulls the e55 wouldn't even get above 4k rpm, feels like a 4 cyl. I'm aware of heat soak and etc. Got around the intercooler pump and am going to have it replaced, my question is there anything else I should check or replace as far as plugs and supercharger go concerning power loss? ...P.s started hearing some lifter chatter a few days ago, normal or should I do a premature oil change?

My suggestion would be better check with any auto repair service.

Sounds like the IC pump is bad, so good time to upgrade. No lifters on these engijnes, just rockers and overhead cams. They do get noisy aty times and you may want to change oil and make sure it is spec oil weight.
