Because a friend of mine added transmission fluid to his and brought it to my attention yesterday. Obviously the transmission dipstick is behind by the firewall.

So you think he added transmission fluid to the crank case rather to the transmission----do you think it's possible that his car does not have transmission dip stick!! or what worries you that he added transmission fluid to the transmission without knowing he may have over filled his transmission!!!

Based off of what I know that is the situation. Mercedes don't come with dipsticks to do maintenance you have to purchase them or have a certified mechanic do the work. What course of action should be taken?

If in fact what you have said is true---have your friend immediately drain the oil from his car and refill-----I would not start or drive the car until the engine oil has been changed.

Then have your bro read the manual!!

That is what I advised him to do. Didn't know if he should get it flushed. I appreciate your insight brother.
