I've got a CL55 AMG that I've just shredded the crankshaft pulley that turns the supercharger. Fortunately, I didn't damage anything else. I had no idea that this damage was even possible to a crank pulley, but I digress...

Stupidly, I ordered a tool from KC Auto that was advertised as fitting m112/m113 engines, but the same advertisement failed to mention that it didn't fit the M113K. Today, when the tool arrived I made the discovery myself. The replacement bolt, pulleys and harmonic balancer are in my possession, but as of the moment I'm drafting this, I can't find the pulley tool I need in order to remove the old parts and install the new.

So, I'm stuck.

Does anyone know the part number for the crankshaft pulley tool or a source for purchasing the tool that will fit the M113K?

I've searched the forums and have been unable to find any advice on this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No dealer normally will sell you any Tool
For my V12's I needed the vacuum intercooler bleeding tool, even with my skills finding things no way to get them sell me one
I build it myself
If you really really want one, find someone with a MB workshop account and have them order you a tool

The dealer in Daytona Beach sells parts at a discount and ships anywhere. They want $450 for the tool. There is a company in Colorado called specialty auto tool rental. They Fedexed it to me within 3 days of my order. I've got a week to return it. Now if we could just get the damn pulley to slide off...

Looks like you already have the bolt loose. I have the tool for sale for $220. Only used once. Paid $300 for it and waited months to get it. Put in a new harmonic balancer on my W215 CL55. I may just post it up in the classified section.
