Mercedes SL63 AMG
M156 Inlet Breather Pipe

Hi Guys,

I have an ongoing problem with my recently acquired SL63 AMG.

The Inlet Manifold Breather Pipe keeps failing and I have had 3 replacement pipes, in as many months!

The Mercedes Dealer says that everything is ok when they put it on the Diagnostic Equipment but still they keep failing.

I have told the Dealer this time to stop treating the symptom and find the cause., as clearly something is not right.

In my view the inlet manifold pressure is too high and finds the weakest link, being the breather pipe (PCV?)

Does anyone have any ideas on what the cause may be?

Thanks

David
