E63 2010 Misfiring P0012
Hello guys!
First of all, my english is not that good but i will do my best writing this..
I got an E63 AMG from 2010 with just a little over 56.000km.
My issue started when i was driving home from work and hit a hole on the ground.
Car lost is power and CEL came up, i came home after like 5km and i got my OBD reader out and run a test.
P0012 The position of the intake camshaft (Bank1) is implausible relative to the position of the crankshaft.
And another code telling me that Cylinder 4 is misfiring.
The next day i called company i bought car from and they told me to get it to their shop, on my way there car was running perfect, still rough idles but over 2500rpms it runs perfectly.
Now the car has been there for 3 weeks and they are telling me that they are still searching for whats wrong....?
Let me sum everything up:
- Runs rough on low RPMs
- Runs great on higher RPMs -> 2500 RPM
- They have changed sparkplugs, O2 sensor, camshaft sensors and solenoid.
- Compressiontest done and everything looks OK
- Camshaft timing OK
So, either they are lying and they did not change anything. Or they dont really have a clue what they are doing. Or there is a BIG problem they cant find.
I'm tired of waiting, had my car for 7 weeks before this problem.
This video was filmed 3-4 days before the car got the problem.
I'm not if the click it makes before it starts up is normal? Around 3 seconds into the movie.
So lets hear, what do you guys think?
