How much boost do you make?

Anyone check how much boost you make. Just got the dashdaq and it shows 35 psi. Anyone know how to adjust that to actual boost instead of map psi which is atm press + boost? IAT fluctuates a lot. At idle it can go to 170F. If you hit the gas it drops 20-30F due to the volume of air flowing. Cruising at 70mph with outside temps at 70*F it is around 120*F. Throttle angle has a lot to do with IATs. Timing retards a lot if you floor it, can go to 0*TDC, but when decelerating it is -30TDC, normal?

I have a dashdaq too. You have to subtract 14.7 to get your true boost. Looks like your boosting 20.3 psi!

you might hit 20psi+ on spikes but I bet your average peak boost is around 18psi

cool, engine is under most load in higher gears which will create a higher boost spike...problem is that its just that a spike and then boost immediately tapers big time

Well yeah, it tapered big time because I was approaching 100mph fast so had to let off.

I hear you...if you had stayed in it though boost would have dropped dramatically, its the natural "boost curve" for our car.
