Oil Leak Issue on V-12?
I've convinced myself that I want an S600 (2003-2006). After having looked around quite a bit, I went over to look at an S500 at a local dealership and mentioned to the salesman that I had my eye on the S600. He said repeatedly "don't do it". His reasoning was due to an oil leak from a nitrogen charged something-or-the-other that was meant to be an emergency back-up oil source should a problem occur. Anyway he said that the things have failed on 3 of the S600's that he's had on his lot and he'd never get another one. He also said that the dealership had quoted between $10k and $12k because the engine had to be pulled. Whatever the leak was, he said that it ran up through a canvas wire loom that ended up going to one of the main control modules of the car and screwed it up to the point that it would need to be replaced too. I asked him what years he'd seen this on and he said somewhere between 2001 and 2003.
Can anyone clarify this for me? Does this sound familiar?
Thanks for any input.

The only things that have nitrogen in them are the abc suspension air reservoirs, and they are sealed and attached to abc lines. There is no oil leak problem on the 03-09 s600, it was pre 03 that had an oil cooler leak on top of engine. 03 on has oil cooler in bottom of bumper behind lic. plate. Tranny connector can leak, need to replace o-rings, if not, tranny oil can wick up to tcu in engine compartment.
