Calculated 0-60mph times
This was pretty popular in a thread over on the AMG S class forum, so I figured to offer my services without high-jacking that other thread. An online acquaintance of mine passed along an Excel based regression model that calculates 0-60mph times based on your drag strip timeslips. I have tested this against my vbox data I derived on my drag strip runs and it was pretty darn accurate (all runs were under .05s off with an average of .02s). So if anyone would like me to plug in your drag strip #'s, I can spit out your 0-60mph on that particular run. I will need your 60', 330' and 1/8th mile ETs in order to come up with the time.

This should be very popular indeed, Just for giggles Tom calculated my 0-60 for my old CL65 (vrp825) and it came out to 2.75 seconds.. Boy I miss that rush.

I'm almost embarrassed by my times but what the hell. It was my first time at the track. In my defense this is the worst track maybe ever. 1/8th mile only. Bumpy as hell, I mean bounce your head on the roof bad, and I almost hit a rabbit on one of my runs. It was at night too and was nice and moist out. Nice thing is that it's about 1 mile from where I live. You can walk to my GF's house from there.
60 - 1.943
330 - 5.398
1/8 - 8.229 @ 87mph
Thanks Tom!

Yeah mine is bone stock. General Exclaim UHP street tires in stock size. Drove it from work to the track on a whim. Just punched it and let the ESP do the work for that one. I'm gonna practice my launches once they open back up. 1/8th mile is all about the launch. Would like to get under an 8 in stock form and go from there. I was just having fun here.
I had no traction all the way through first. It was damp/humid and almost 11pm in late Nov so the track was cold. Almost nobody was there by time I got there. I'll get it though. My dads Z06 was a handful at first. Lol a major handful. Not trying to make excuses though. I guess you could consider that the test for punch and go capabilities of a stock E55 in less then ideal conditions.
Can you believe they don't require you to wear a helmet at that track unless you run under a 7 or something like that?!?! Just recommended that I wear by seat belt. I wear one just going to the grocery store!
Really don't want to come off like I'm making excuses. I know I suck lol Bodybuilding taught me humility.

That's awesome Tom....THANKS!!!! How does it compare to the 600's and 65's?
Would you mind if I send you my 60-130 file to evaluate. It's the same one that I spoke to you about and it's the only run I did that night. I measured 8.4x with wheel spin and I'm hoping you could tell me a little more about the run. It sucks that I only got one run in but hopefully I'll get another chance soon.
BTW...this wouldn't be a submission for my times because I know I'll do much better. I don't the first and only try would be my best numbers .

Supra. It was a stick, single turbo, stock block supra at the time. Now it has a built motor, bigger turbo, and new fueling setup
