Hand Held Tuners?

I remember awhile back there was talk onthe E55 forum about hand held tuners(programmers) becoming available soon. Does anyone know if that will become a reality on our cars? I sure would like to have a stock tune, if I have to take the car to the dealership, a 93 tune for around town and a 100 octane tune for the track.

I think renntech makes one, not sure if it applies to your model though.

cl600

spoke to reintech and they don'r make one. they say there is only one setting for the cl600. they also say the dealer won't know it's chipped unless he goes into the ecu. they say they can take the cip out for around $400.
