2004 S600. I've read all the stuff on Johnson vs Bosch and think I'll stick with the Bosch. My question is whether the 0392022002 sold on Ebay will work. My star library says the new one is A000 500 01 86. I can't find that and it's $400. I think I might have to change the outlet from my old one and maybe even the electrical connection but do you think it works otherwise?

Well, I took off the rock shield and it definitely wasn't working but then I banged on it, didn't change anything, but then I squeezed the outlet hose - milked it a little and it came on. Could it have been air in the pump? I see the pump was replaced at 28,000 miles (currently 80K).

I don't think it's the relay since I swapped relays before and the turbos were still not working. And while I had the rock shield off, with the pump not working at that time, I checked power and it was getting voltage to it.

Any thoughts would be welcome.
