The hood scoop is the key to a well detailed design for best inlet air. Doing the under hood air intake set up behind the radiator as others do is a poor compromise.

Powerwise it should bring good results with Ram-Air effect and little twists.

I personally more prefer the "sleeper look", so for me it is not an option on a R230 SL65. Also the "under hood set-up" should cost a few KM/H topspeed and maybe it could be a little problem to drive in heavy rain with the big open filter in the front...
