transmission problem - CEL
Hi,
today, a very weird thing happened to me. I was cruising at a speed of 50 km/h when the CEL came on on the car (W221 S65) stopped accelerating. It took some time before the transmission allowed me to select a gear again and continue driving.
I returned back home and checked for errors with Xentry. Of course there was one fault code for the transmission control unit.
Translated in english the error said: "improper transmission gear ratio", which I find very weird. The transmission is completely stock and I never had any problem before.
Does anyone have an idea what possible reason there might be for this fault code?
