2005 CL65 - Changed Fan 3 Times! HELP!
Hi... I had recently changed my radiator on my 2005 CL65 and when I put the fan back in it was working fine...so then I buttoned everything up, started the car and the fan wouldn't work. To spin the fan by hand it actually had some resistance instead of how a brushless electric motor free spins. So I disconnected the plug going to the fan and it still had that resistance.... Ok, so I figured the fan was bad. I go buy another fan, install it, check and it's working fine, shut the car off, button everything up, start the car up and the fan doesn't work. I drive the car to a guy who has the star scanner and he checks it and tells me the fan is bad. Ok... I get another fan...and guess what???? The same damn thing only I didn't bring it back to the guy with the scanner.... This is Crazy! I would appreciate if anyone has any ideas or has had the same problem please write back. Thank you...

check you a/c regulator. if it's bad, or sporadic your fan will not work whether in a/c mode, heat mode, or just fan mode.

Thank you Biker349, I'll check that out... Do you know where the A/C regulator is located on my car (2005 CL65)?

probably under the dash on the right side of the car. you'll have to check yourself to be sure. there are a bunch of threads about that, or try google, or youtube.
