4 different water pumps, which to choose?

There are 4 different brands of water pumps for the M275:
Laso at ~$358
Saleri at ~$242
Geba at ~$243
Genuine Mercedes at ~$181
Usually the genuine Mercedes branded *anything* is the most expensive yet in this case it is the least expensive. Money is not the concern but which one would be the best to choose and why? Why is there such a discrepancy in the prices? Does Laso have a metal impeller or somehow built better and the Genuine Mercedes could be a plastic impeller?

The issue with metal impellers, and the reason Mercedes and BMW went iwth plastic, has to do with corrosion and incompatibility with other engine metals IIRC (has to do with electrochemistry)

Plastic has its own problems of brittleness, but I'd stick with genuine Mercedes on this one.

SL65 AMG
The genuine Mercedes ones are now remanufactured.

Something to be aware of: A lot of places will tack on a $49 core return charge for the genuine ones. It may only show up once you start going through the checkout process.

Good thought. The remanufactured ones could be cheaper than a brand new one.

Laso is the OEM for Mercedes.
