For sale is a 2002 Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG with 108,100 miles. It was bought used from an older gentleman in Brooklyn, NY with 71,000 miles in 2011 as a luxury weekend car and has been with the current owner since. Upon purchase it was installed with Weather-Tech All Weather Floor Mats. It was bought to be driven on weekends when the weather was nice and was not used for daily driver duties (had a Toyota Camry for that). The car currently sits right over 108,000 miles, and mileage will slowly creep up as it is still driven on weekends. It has rarely seen snow, apart from being caught in it while out. I am not aware of the number of previous owners, but there have been no accidents while in my possession and I do not believe it was ever involved in one. The car is owned with a clean title.


The car has been taken care of meticulously, and detailed frequently. I hand-wash the car at least once a month, and wax the car at least once every six months in preparation for the winter/summer. The interior leather is treated bi-monthly, and has no cracks. In the previous year, I have replaced the following parts: alternator, coolant reservoir, coolant hoses, front right ball joint, front right control arm, low beam left, low beam right. I don't have all maintenance records over the course of my ownership, but I will include what I have. The oil is changed every 7,000 miles with Mobil-1 Synthetic Oil.


The car has its resonator and secondary catalytic converters replaced with stainless steel straight pipes. These do not affect emissions readiness in any way, and was done to allow the engine to breathe more easily and to let out the sound of the V8. Both the stock resonator and secondary cat will be included with the sale to allow the buyer to revert to stock if desired. The interior dome lights have been replaced with blue bulbs. Apart from the aforementioned modifications, the car is completely stock.


There is a NATO Magnetic Mount above the instrument cluster. It attaches to any magnet for easy docking and removal. The car will come with two keys, the original owner's manual, and the original spare tire in the trunk.
