Description:

This ad is for a like-new DINANTRONICS Sport Performance Tuner for the 43 AMG line (C, GLC, E, GLE, and SLC 43 AMG), as well as the C 400/450 from 2015-2016. The module is in perfect working condition, and it pairs to a free downloadable app for iPhone & Android. The app lets you change the settings on the fly (between -3psi of boost, known as "Valet" mode, and +4psi of boost, known as "Race" mode). Dinan claims that the power gains from this module on a stock 43 AMG are +40hp and +40tq, and from my experience this seems about right. The power increase is definitely noticeable, and seems to build up more and more as you go higher in engine RPMs. Very smooth/refined power boost; not like some one-size-fits-all piggybacks that seem to deliver power unevenly.

The reason I am selling it is because I decided to get a full tune for my car and no longer have a need for the piggyback.

Originally paid $350 for it with taxes + shipping, so I am offering it at a $120 loss. Price is firm.

I can also install the module for the buyer as a courtesy, free of charge. (Note: Takes about 10 minutes or less, but engine needs to cool off first.)

I'll have to pass on that offer; $240 is too much of a loss for a like-new product from a reputable company with years and years of R&D (several more than Burger Motorsports). Good luck with the JB piggyback if you end up getting it; hopefully you're not planning to keep your car long-term or at least purchased a good extended warranty - those will put so much wear & tear on your motor that it will start breaking down by 50k miles. I had a friend with a JB4 on his BMW and it was constantly causing CELs, bucking/kicking/hesitation, strange noises coming from the engine, and uneven power delivery when it did actually work. His car only had about 5k miles when he started using it; he started having mechanical problems only a year or two later (lucky for him it was still within warranty by that time). These aren't things you'd have to worry about with Dinan's products.
