I'm selling my 2007 SL550, I'm the 3rd owner and I put around 30k miles on it. Mechanically the car is 10/10, cosmetically I'd say 8/10.
It has all the options for that model year, except panorama roof. This means it has keyless go, parking sensors, heated/ventilated and massaged seat, distronic cruise control, AMG package and a lot more. Everything works.
It has brand new front brake pads and rotors, rear tires (front tires were replaced 18k miles ago), both batteries are new, new alternator, new ABC pump, new front right ABC shock absorber, all 6 main components (4 hydraulics and 2 actuators) and pump for hard top are new (replaced last September) and many many more things done in the last 4 years. I have all the records to prove it.
As you can see from the list above, most of the pain points of SLs have already been addressed, so this is a great opportunity. I would only consider a trade up or down for a 560SEC or C140 V12.
