Issues with the car:
-Transmission leaks fluid and will not engage overdrive (top) gear. I was driving it 10 miles round trip to South Hayward BART station every weekday in 3rd gear for the past 2 years, waiting for it to die.
-However, it was the starter (I believe) that went out last week, which is why I'm selling. I took the battery (Bosch 3 years old) to Pep Boys and they said it was fine so likely either starter/cables.
Positives:
-Interior is pretty damn immaculate for a '93
-Aside from a couple of tiny chips the paint has held up quite nicely too
-Rear tires were just purchased mid 2018 (Michelin Defenders) at Costco, held on to the non damaged tire that has same tread left as front tires (Michelin Primacy).
We already bought my wife a new car and I have inherited her's. Trying to get rid of it by end of month, so accepting offers till the 20th, which gives me and buyer 8 days to handle sale before end of month.
To be clear, I will collect offers until the 20th and start contacting from highest to lowest. If I can't get title signed over before the end of the month it will be donated to charity.
